Sun Jipingof College of Arts has discussed with scholars about the academic English teaching of postgraduates at the 1st China Top-Level Forum on Academic English, held in Beijing from August 20th to 21st.
The forum focused on the multidimensional exploration of academic English localization and the integration of theoretical research into teaching practice. It was hosted by the Foreign Department of University of Academy of Science, with the theme entitled Exploration of Academic English Localization: Problems and Measures. Main topics include teaching, assessment, research and publishing and other issues of academic English.
Renowned scholars specialized in academic English were invited from both home and abroad to conduct in-depth communication, including Cai Jigang from Fudan University , Wei Naixing from Beijing Aerospace University, Huang Ping from Chongqing University, Zou Bin from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Zhou Changyin from Beijing Second Foreign Languages Institute, Fang Zhihui from the University of Florida and Ronah from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
